PAPP CLINIC accepts applications or resumes only for open positions and if the applicant meets the qualifications for that position.  Most positions require completion of accredited schooling.  Applicants that have the required training and medical experience are considered the more qualified candidate.

Current Openings for March 1, 2010


We are accepting applications for PRN (as needed) LPNs and Certified / Registered Medical Assistants with a minimum of 3 years medical office experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for LPNs and CMA/RMAs include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Performs selected nursing duties and prepares patients for examination and treatment.

Takes and records patients' history and vital signs, enters information into EMR.

Dresses wounds, and gives injections.

Prepares and sterilizes equipment and supplies.

Assists physician in preparing minor surgeries and physicals.

Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments.

Screens telephone calls for referral to nurse or physician, completes prescription refill requests and other EMR tasks.

Provides general information on departmental procedures.

Inventories and requisitions clinical and office supplies.

Maintains patient files, records and other information.

Compiles and condenses technical and statistical data for reports and records.

Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.

Attends meetings and participates in committees as requested.

Maintains patient confidentiality.

 

We are accepting applications for an Appointment Setter / Receptionist with 2 years experience in a medical office setting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for Appointment Setter include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Answers all telephone calls to main telephone number.

Schedules appointments by computer for incoming telephone calls.

Responsible for calling patients if clinic is cancelled, to reschedule appointments.

Backs up the receptionist when they are on break, at lunch, on vacation, or out for the day.
